FAQ

Where is your office located?

Well, my office is wherever you are comfortable – on the sofa, in bed, at a desk. It doesn’t matter as-long-as you bring a hot cup of chai and don’t forget mine!

I am currently only providing services through Teletherapy, which means you can engage in sessions from the comfort of your own home.

What are your hours?
I am currently available during morning and afternoon hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long; if you want a more extended session, we will determine this before the appointment is scheduled and then schedule accordingly.
Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance but am an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies.

I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, please call your insurance company ahead of time to determine your reimbursement rate, as rates vary depending on your insurance plan.

How do I set up an appointment?
Good question; I am offering a free 15-minute consultation. After our consult, we can schedule an appointment.

To reach me, please call me at (805) 651-3735. If I don’t answer, please leave me a voicemail, and I will respond within 24-48 hours.

You also can reach me via email at [email protected] or complete the form below.

How do I complete the paperwork?
I will email you an intake packet, and you sign the documents and email it right back! No pen, paper, or losing paperwork involved!
How will we do sessions if you are doing telehealth?

Once we have scheduled an appointment time, I will email you the link for your session through a secure and confidential platform.

At the session time, all you need to do is click, and voila, we’re on!

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask that you please notify me 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

If I do not hear from you within 24 hours, I will consider you a “no show” and charge you the full fee for a session.

How long will I need to be in therapy?

The answer to this question is a tricky one, and it all depends on what your goals are and what you would like to achieve from therapy. If you’re ready, then let’s set up a free 15-minute consultation at (805) 651-3735.

How long have you been doing therapy, and what experience do you have?

I have been in the Mental Health field for 11 years and have worked in many different settings. To share some of my experience, I specialized in seeing children and families in both the home and school settings. Then, I worked in private medical practice with a psychiatrist and team of therapists.

I also have worked in a center to help treat traumatic brain and catastrophic injuries. I have enjoyed all these different experiences and learned so much from each experience and client.

My passion is being in private practice helping young professionals, individuals, and couples reach their goals.
