Young Professionals

Hard work paid off!

You finally made it; you got your dream job – that you have always wanted.

You have worked so hard to get here, stayed up night after night toiling away studying, completing rotations, internships, sending in research papers, and more.

Or perhaps, after a few years of working in an entry-level position, you finally worked your way up into the place you have always wanted.

Maybe you started your dream business, obtained that license required to further your career, or became your own boss.

Career decisions are challenging.

Finding a job or career is never easy, especially one that you love or thoroughly enjoy.

Many obstacles make it challenging to find the “RIGHT” fit that suits your needs.

During the process, you sometimes begin to second guess if this is a “good” fit for you, allowing low self-esteem and negative self-talk to stand in your way.

You think, “I’m not sure if this is the right job for me; I don’t think I can do it.” Or “I don’t feel confident about fitting in here. Am I even capable?”

Vik* questioned his career.

“I am having a tough time in my career. My parents wanted me to take a completely different path, and I decided not to follow their advice and landed in this job. I love so many things about this career, and it is something that I wanted. Now that I am here, I am not sure what to do next.”

So I asked Vik what type of work he wanted to do. Also, we talked about some things he wanted to do now that he is in his current position.

“I want to progress into the next role, obtain a certification, and improve my communication skills for a managerial position.”

There it is, goals – goals – goals! Now that Vik has established his goals, we need to work with him to achieve those goals.

Struggle less and meet the challenges.

I love working with young professionals from the ages of 25 – 35 who are struggling with new or changes in their current careers. I can help focus on boosting confidence through learning positive self-talk and crush any fear or anxiety that may stand in their way.

Together, we will work on achieving your goals.

Half of the journey is getting the job or stepping into the career you have always wanted. For the other half of the journey, we will focus on just being HAPPY!

Say it as Oprah Winfrey does, “It is confidence in our bodies, minds, and spirits that allows us to keep looking for new adventures.”
